Property Maintenance (Winter Precautions)
Over the next few months we ask that you ensure that the heating in your property is sufficient to prevent the freezing or bursting of pipes.  If you go away during the winter period, either leave sufficient heating on to prevent frost damage and thus burst pipes; or ensure (at your expense) that the central heating system is drained down by a professional plumber.  Where heating is left on, please ensure that the stopcocks are turned off to prevent excessive water damage if a leak occurs.

It is important in the event of an emergency that we are able to contact you. Would any tenants who change their mobile/work or home telephone numbers please let the office know what the new numbers are as quickly as possible.



If you should have an emergency or maintenance problem during the times the office is closed please call the following numbers:

If you are unable to contact any of the above contractors you will need to call an appropriate contractor from the Yellow Pages who has a 24 hours callout service.  Should this be the case please ensure that you get a receipt for any money paid.

For URGENT Electrical/Plumbing/Gas Appliances:
These numbers should only be used in an emergency* ie: loss of heating or water escape during the holiday period.

We urge you to act promptly and deal with any emergency as and when it happens to prevent further damage to the property you are renting. Any non urgent issues should be reported to our office on 28th, 29th & 30th December 2011 when voicemail and emails will be checked.
